Quad Lock - Phone holder
I've been searching for a moblie phone holder to use on the Street.
What do you guys think of this its my intention to get a Sony Z5 compact and use it as a sat nav while I'm out in the wilds. Would you trust this to hold the phone? Would you look into using some sort of tether for extra security? So what do you guys think?

Looks ok Dean
Do you have a USB charging socket wired up to the bike?

Re: Quad Lock - Phone holder
Yeah I have a Bibios gizmo thing on the bike. I can run a cable under the tank so its right there.
Daddyjob, I'm trying to avoid all the packaging that comes with the normal type phone holders. I'm a bit slow on the uptake I could maybe even use this how its actually meant and swap it over between bikes

Re: Quad Lock - Phone holder
I always use the Herbert Richter type as they're secure and cheap. 4 pin sliding system. However the latest phones don't seem to be available, but the cheap chinese phone mounts from ebay tend to use an identical fitting, and these do have all the latest phone holders, so it's win win for me.
