Default Which insurer?

I'm about to insure my Daytona when my sv policy expires, I'm currently with Carole Nash with the DNA thingy. I've had pretty decent quotes back from MCE and Bennetts, circa £170 fully comp where as Carole Nash is £220.

I've heard CN are really good to deal with in the event of a claim, are they worth paying £50 more for their services?

I can only tell you that when I was CN and my old Honda was stolen it was all sorted and paid for in two to three weeks.I'm with Bennets now as it's cheap but upped my security big-time and keep my bike garaged as well.

For an extra 50 quid it seems a bit of a no brainer really

I did a lot of review reading and there were negative posts on every insurer so I just hope I don't have to use mine and I'll not know until I have to make a claim.

I'm still on CN's mailing list and they now seem to have moved the Goalposts on Classic bike insurance to between 10 and 20 years and not their old just 20 year deal.

https://www.carolenash.com/motorbike...classic-bikes/

However I got caught out as the Classic insurance does not run up No Claims and after two years you lose any you had

Hence why I went with Bennets as it was nearly half the cost of CN at the time(April 1017)

When it came to renew my car the letter quote from Churchill was £50 more than their quote on the Comparison sites so when I rang them they dropped it to the Web Quote.

You gotta keep an eye on these Tricky Monkeys

£50 is a small price to pay to avoid MCE

I think that's made my decision on MCE, are Bennett as awkward as I've heard as well?
