Removed baffle and Mr plod - SV650.org

I haven't fitted the baffle in my can since buying it and was wondering what the consequences would be if Mr Plod decided to stop me? A fine? A slap on the wrist? Impound my bike?

The BSAU mark is on the can not the baffle but I figure any copper who knows his stuff won't accept that.

I really haven't got a clue does anyone know first hand?

most cops wouldnt even notice it, but if they do they would probably just ask you to put the baffle in, so maybe keep it under the pillion seat

I was caught with a non stamped Remus can and small plate, £30 fine for the small plate and a rectification notice and document produce at the local police station for the can. Had to refit the original can take it to an MOT centre get a doc stamped (£10.00 charge) then produce the stamped doc, MOT, reg and insurance at the local station
