Default Differences between naked sv and Faired version.

Ignoring the odvious stuff. Fairing and remote brake cylinder are there any other differences between a naked and a faired SV?
If so are the parts interchangeable?
Over here there is a decent price difference between a naked and a faired bike.

i dont own an sv yet..will hopefully have 1 in the next couple of weeks.

But from what i know the SVS has a slightly more sproty riding position with lower bars and i think higher pegs (?) i also think i have heard that the gearing is slightly taller on the SVS

Not sure about the old/classic curvy shaped ones, but for the new pointy ones:

For the K3 model year, the naked bike had "proper" bars, lower bars and slightly lower gearing compared to the S model (higher pegs and clip-on bars).

For K4 the main changes were that the S got slightly lower pegs and toolkit box. And the word "suzuki" on the tank was replaced with a simple "S" logo.

New K5 models get a black frame.

I think that for the curvy models, the diferences are pretty much as per the K3 diffrences. The main difference between curvy and K3 is fuel-injection.

The difference between the two is simple. The fared ones are common and crap.

The nakid ones are cool and better

Hope this helps

Apart from the obvious cosmetic differences the only real change in the 99-02 models was the riding position. Nekkid model having the more upright and comfy option.

Is that apart from the ignition wiring, both switch cluster wiring loom takeoff points and control cables then ?

Cheers Mark.
