Of down to Lincoln tomorrow for first service. Bike just gets better and better. Only have two complaints, seat is a little on the hard side and currently there are no accessories available, other than that absolutely delighted with it.

Anyone recommend a company to sort seat out, it is the only thing that I am not completely happy with.

I had mine re-padded by a local upholsterer, you will be surprised at how many of them will do Bike Seats too. Ask around your local area and you will find one who does them.

Good luck.

There's this one in York. I've not used them myself but have seen them mentioned on here before.

That would have been a mention from me. I sent my curvy seat to them and they added a gel insert and re-sculpted the foam so it still looked stock. Quick turnaround, sensible price, and the bike became all day comfy as a result. Well worth doing if you get a numb butt from the OE saddle.

I went on a short test ride today (I had to ride on a fixed route) on the new SV. I can agree with macamxthe1st that the seat is too hard. My bum was sore after only 20 minutes and when I compared it with the seat on my K3 naked I realised that the previous owner had put in a gel seat on my bike.

Apart from that, the gear change was so slick that sometimes I wasn't sure that the change had happened. The engine was very smooth and strong and it cornered like a dream, much better than my bike. Overall, I liked it a lot.

I have got well over a 1,000 miles on mine now and it just gets better and better. I have fitted Michelin Pr4's and they have made a big difference especially in the wet.

Just as an aside I was out yesterday and Midddleton -in-Teesdale was mobbed with guys on big adventure bikes (mainly GS's) dressed in full adventure type gear trying for a coronary struggling with these things to park them up probably for and "Adventure" coffee or even "Adventure" fish and chips.I believe I was having a great deal more fun for probably 1/3 of the price. Bet I've got 3 times the miles on by the end of the year as well.
