How do you correct the Rev Counter?
I've done searches but can't find any solutions.
The inj SV650 rev counter is hopelessly optimistic, does anyone know how it can be corrected to show a 'genuine' reading particularly higher up in the rev range? Maybe the simplest way is to find out how much it's out on a dyno, take the instrument to pieces, and simply move the needle down a bit so that it's reasonably accurate between 8-10k??? Re: How do you correct the Rev Counter?
I know the speedo is 9% generous, but this is the first I've ever heard of the tach being inaccurate.

Re: How do you correct the Rev Counter?
Regularly shows over 11,000 rpm without hitting the rev limiter which is of course a fairy story (race bike, standard ECU).

Re: How do you correct the Rev Counter?
Interesting as my sv (k4) will happily rev abit over 1k more into the red line before the limiter kicks in.

Re: How do you correct the Rev Counter?
Iries bike is as far removed from a minitwin that you can get on an SV LOL. Irie - you need a race dash!!
