....And the SV sailed through with no more than an advisory to remind me that the rear tyre will need changing soon.

Very pleased. I almost never have to do anything to the old girl for the MoT, beyond a quick check over.

Always nice when that happens. Not nice when your local (no longer Yamaha) dealer takes twice as long as promised to get your bike back to you but thankfully Spannerman normally takes care of it when I drop the bike off for servicing, so I can usually avoid the local shop.
