Silicone grease around the grommet at the top of the plug hole
A fender extenda to prevent that well aimed jet of water off the front wheel
Make sure the drain hole that comes out at the side of the head is clear.
A new plug

The fender extender does work, as does the sealing the plug cap, I used blue instant gasket around the cap and that worked for months until I needed to change the plug, then I just added another little smear around the edge. I regularly spray out the the drain hole with WD40 too just to make sure that it remains clear.
