Default Identify this part please.

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie here (so Howdo!)

I'm looking for the proper name of the highlighted item in the pic (the white circle, cylindrical like object connected to tail light)
edit for bike issue.jpg

Any idea what it's called? reason I ask is I need a new one, this is the reason my signal fuses keep blowing....rather annoying

thanks guys

It's underneath the petrol tank, closest to the seat, the orange wire with the black plastic is connected to the tail-light

Take it off, take it to a Suzuki dealer, and tell the parts guy you need a new one. He'll know what it is.
If it has numbers on it, you can Google them and probably find one to buy cheaper.

I believe I may have found it, if not I could be making progress...

I went on alpha-parts (good for referencing and ordering parts so I'm told)

and it appears to be the coil assembly

It looks like the rear coil, which would be connected to the Ignition unit (Black box in the tail piece with a big multi pin connector). There should be a thick HT lead from the coil to the rear spark plug. It is not connected to the lights.

P.S given you are unsure what it is, what had convinced you it's causing an issue with the light fuses?

And if it is a coil, are you sure it's connected to the rear light?
