Default PC recommendation

Morning all

I'm needing a PC recommendation for work.

Budget is about £400 as I've got to order a monitor also
The PC is going to be mainly for general office duty with a little bit of sharing over 2 PC's (emails and documents).

If its a bit cheaper it'll be appease the accountant.

Thanks in advance

Go to your local pc shop (not pc world) and ask them the specifications and memory and the things you want to do. And they will build you one . I have 1 built for £200 and got some mint stuff . And still going strong after 5 years

Sadly I'm locked to an IT company so it has come via them, but we can spec the kit

Seems you are looking for a spec rather than what to buy.

Intel i3 CPU
4GB Memory
Mobo with onboard GFX
320GB HDD
Win 7 Home Premium
Office 2010
22" 1080p monitor

Not sure on that coming into budget, the software alone is about £200 and the monitoe will be about £100 for a decent brand (LED Samsung Syncmaster 22" can be had for £100)

just for a laugh get a few raspberry pi's
Try and get a decent monitor 2560 x 1440 as a good compromise..otherwise a 2 monitor setup ( Not for the raspebrr pi's I might add)
If you can get a decent amd card maybe do some bitcoin mining

Debian OS = free
LibreOffice/Open Office (runs in Java and it seems the Pi supports Java)

Add the £100 monitor, keyboard/mouse etc and should be good to go for about £200

So get 2
