Default Which braided hoses?

Firstly, Im planning on sorting my brakes out.. ovs
K6 pointy sv650s with front fender+exstender + rear hugger and full fairing,

Brake lines - which? much difference? or just pick the nicest colour?
1) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wezmoto-Su...item25780991a6

2)http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Goodridge-...item45ee4a29db

From fitting them i might aswell service the (standard) calipers - what do i need & how to do it? even if its just put simply.

Thanks inadvance peeps

Simple service to calipers would be to pop out the pistons and clean all the brake dust and rust off the pistons, clean out the calpier and rebuild using plenty of red rubber grease. Be sure to bleed it all through, take it for a spin and bleed again.

seems legit & easy enough to do, Thanks

Any update on braided hoses people? iv seen hell ones for sale.. worth the extra money for the cause? im not a racer although i would like them to be fairly decent with enough braking power to save myself from a douch not checking his mirrors...

I think the silicone stuff is just for tart factor, it may be a help further up the racing chain but I don think it offers anything at commuter level.

Braided lines, there will be a level of quality differing between the sets but in all honesty any braided line will be better than the rubber OEM ones fitted to your bike.
I've bought a set of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-SV6...cd6fdfa&_uhb=1

Cant fault those, not fitted them yet mind but they look and feel fine IMO.

I've got the wezmoto lines, can't fault them. I did only get them because I wanted longer lines for my bar conversion. I'm not one for heavy braking, especially in winter, so haven't noticed any difference performance wise.

I fitted the Wezmoto hoses to my curvy some time ago. They're well made hoses with s/s end fittings and bolts but it took me a while to get the right length of hoses from him. The first ones (front and rear) were miles too long. When I phoned him to try and get the right ones, rather than just saying sorry and replacing them he insisted on trying to tell me how many of these hoses he'd sold, and never had a complaint. I finally managed to persuade him to send me a set to my own measurements, which he did, but with very poor grace.

They've been fitted to my bike for more than a year and not given me any trouble though.

+1, won't make the cooling system work any better, but if you needed new hoses they're probably cheaper than OE ones.
