Numpty newbie
Morning.
Real name is Alan, mid 30's and living near Kings Lynn in Norfolk. Tdi90 is my user name for pretty much all forums I use and has a wee story behind it but shant bore you with the details. Just returned to bikes after a 12 year break due to a stroppy git of a wife. Got rid of the wife 3 years ago and decided to have another bike. Girlfriend got me a 1999 sv650s as a b-day pressy in July this year. Always liked the look of em, and didnt want to be one of those numptys that jump straight on a modern superbike after over a decade. My first v twin and so far I'm very impressed, previous bikes were a couple of NC30's and a zxr750 H1. Having a little issue with it atm but I'll whack a post up later about that. Looking foward to getting some advice on bits n bobs cos I like to tinker and do as much maintaince and repair myself ☺ |

Re: Numpty newbie
Tdi90 relates to a ford galaxy that I had years ago with the vag 90bhp engine. Had loadsa problems with it and ended up being named frankinsteins monster. Even had badges made up to replace the std ford ones . I do have a land rover, but a 2002 4.4 V8 gas converted range rover Thats also cost me a small fortune to keep on the road
Yes, girlfriend is deffo a good'un, but not real keen on being a pillion lol. |

she certainly is if she doesn't want to come pillion, it ruins the curvy (and the pointy too I suspect) handling because the suspension just isn't good enough to cope I think. just get her to start riding herself, tis way better
