Default Aprilia 1100 Factory

I meandered over to Willingham Woods today as I do most weekends and our local well to do rider was showing us his new baby. He's bought an Aprilia 1100 Factory which is a V4 producing about 217hp. Since it only comes in matte black and he doesn't like that, he had a custom paint job which looked good in white, red and green. The bike has wings! (no Redbull) and since he's already seen 190mph (I didn't ask where) which is above the take off speed of most aircraft I suppose wings are necessary.

Of the many bikes he's owned, the only one I've wanted to ride was his immaculate Kawasaki H2 750cc triple but I never asked. I haven't dropped a bike in 47 years and I'd be terrified at the thought of dropping someone else's bike.

He had the new H2, too and was only getting 800 miles to a back tyre, not sure the Aprilia will be much better. I was thinking I've never owned a car with that much power...

If you want a similar Aprilia (without the paint job), they're about £22k.

Nope don't want one.
More power doesn't guarantee more fun.
Some of the best laughs I ever had on a bike was when a mate and me had matching MZ TS150s and we would go thrash the nuts off them.
Mine cost £75 and was quite simply the best bargain I ever had.
