for a while now the bike at low revs feels as if its kangerowing down the road while to choke is only on half way.

but for the last week i noticed while on the motorway that with the choke off while at low revs ie 4k and when i go to speed up the bike splutters then power comes back!!

btw the bikes a curvey 2001

Was it cold, or a cold wind flow? Could be Carb Icing which is easily treated.

i was thining this but its the 4th tank now in two weeks

think im going to have to strip the bike down a little and check things like fuel pipes etc etc

also was the curvey fitted with heated carps?? just something to rule out?

Misfire = check plugs.

Might not be the problem but a new set is F.A and won't do any harm to change. Plus it'll rule out one thing if it doesn't solve it.

(when you replace the front one, put grease around the lead to prevent the water from getting to it)

Sounds like possibly a fueling issue. I had rough running on my curvey and I found that the choke plungers got stuck so the choke was on even with the lever in the off position so you might be suffering the same issue...
