Default Friction Zone

This is probably a newbie question; I searched for it but couldn't find it.

On my 2002 SV650, when I clutch out to the friction zone it'll pull the bike forward for an inch without gas and stall. On my friend's GSX-R and ZX-6, the bike would pull forever without gas. I've grown used to this but life would be 10x easier if the pull was stronger. Whats the problem here? Idle? I thought I found the idle on my bike but it seems as if it doesn't twist.

With my K6, so long as I let the clutch out slow enough, she'll pull me along all day at about 8mph happily on flat ground.

My idle is set around 1400rpm.

Thats probably what the problem is, turn the idle speed up to around 1200 - 1300 rpm, some people run it a little higher, but I've found that works for me.

The problem is I don't know where the idle is as well. I looked at the OM and thought I found the knob but its like it feels like it doesn't twist.

Its on the clutch side of the bike, it pokes out between the frame reasonably near the riders seat.

Yeah, I tried twisting that but it feels like doesn't move at all and I'm just twisting the hose along with it. What direction would I have to twist to up the idle?
