Motrax LED Indicators
Just fitted a pair of these on the front - much sleeker and brighter than the originals.
Took about an hour to fit both (including soldering in different resistors to correct the flash rate - 10 watt 10 ohm resistors less than 50p each from Maplins). Photos below:-

Pants as in Johnny Vegas'big baggy cream & brown Y fronts, or one of kylie's skimpy lace thongs?

Matt. Did you get the resistor packs with them? I did raise the fact with motrax, that they where not strong enough, and i eneded up using 2 packs on each indicator. But i would have to agree that they are very bright.

They came with resistors, however they were no good when I tried them(couldn't see what resistance the originals were). Luckily I had bought some from Maplins just in case - picked up a couple of spares for when I do the back - will wait till I get a Hamicad before I fit the rear ones

Motrax are 're-issuing' thier LED indicators in the New Year with stronger resistors which should stop the flash rate problem.
Apparently it's a problem with some bikes but not others, but they're upping the resistors to cope with everything... hopefully. Which is why I've put off buying mine for a few weeks. I'd prefer oval ones (to go with my [bike's] lovely curves) but they only do LED 'arrows'. Much brighter though, which is why I'm fitting them. |

Hey,
Are you using both the LED Motrax side indicators aswell as the LED 'sidelights' by the headlights as turn signals? If so, I wouldn't mind some help on how you went about wiring that. I am super stupid when it comes to wiring and ohms and resistors... Mitch

I endured the same problem when converting number-plate and sidelight (at front) to LED. 1.5v in LED terms is a lot given high output LEDS run at 4-4.5v. |
