I have had success with a 12volt bulb with two wires soldered on and then wrapped in insulation tape (to prevent any short circuit). Ground the one wire and wrap other end (or solder) safety pin onto it, now you can go around touching connection or sticking pin through insulation on wires (means you can test with plugs still plugged in) until you find a place where bulb is either dim or does not light up. A 21watt bulb (indicator bulb) will draw best part of 2 amps so will find high resistance contacts by not lighting up very well. This is cheaper than a multimeter.

Borrowed a mates multi meter and dont a beep test between the switch and headlight connector, high beam was beeping low beam wasnt. Chekced from fuse to switch and high beam was beeping but low beam wasnt. The fuse is fine for low beam and i swapped it with high beam but still the same results. I dont know what else to check for. Might end up taking it to a garage or is there any other things to check or test

Looks like low beam contact inside switch is fubar, probably because low beam is on 99% of the time and it gets most use.

This guy strips the switch on a Burgman, they're are all similar though:

There isn't too much that can go wrong: corrosion on contacts, solder joint broken (both fixable), broken plastic parts (only fixable if you have the patience of a saint).

There are lots of switches on ebay too.
Yeah i did dismantle the switch and cleaned it all up but still no luck. Today though i noticed one of my indicators arent working and wiggles the relay around and it goes on and off so think it could be the relay so ordered a new one and will try that out.

Indicators are designed to go on and off

I meant the power to the indicator was going on and off like a loose connection not signaling on and off like its meant to

Just an update and maybe help for anyone else who has this problem in the future. I found the culprit, had to take the airbox off and the yellow connector block just above radiator which has all the headlight wiring, horn and indicator wiring in, the low beam wire pin had burnt out so cut the wire either side of the block and rejoined using bullet connectors and all up and running again.

Thanks for the update, because the dipped bulbs are on majority of the time the wiring is always under load.
