Helicopter Heroes
Hey guys!!
I'm back and just about back to my old self. Thanks again for all the well wishes. Anyhoo, I wasn't aware at the time, that my wee adventure was captured on camera!! So this afternoon, I had one of the BBC crew come round to see how I was doing and get consent to air the footage they have. So next April I'll be a movie star.  I promise to remember you all when I reach the dizzying heights of Z list celeb status.  I sure hope they captured my better side.

Helicoptor Heroes is specifically about the Yorkshire Air Ambulance that came to Richard Hammonds aid when he crashed the rocket car at Elvington (York). They also came to the aid of our damsel in distress, Melody.

Glad to hear you back and in good spirits!
You gave us all a fright to say the least. The camera man was all over the place at the scene. At one point, he was doing close-ups of the front of my bike and then shooting through some grass!  Then, he got a good clip of all of us getting a good hold of you as we rolled you to put you on the spinal board. No-one knew where to put their hands, oh the blushes  Some, it has to be said, enjoyed it far too much  Hope you get the bike fixed soon, Pete.
