Default 'Uploading a photo' for Dummies

As the titel. This has probably been asked before. Anybody willing to point me in the right direction? I have to mention, I'm not very good at that sort of thing, specially computer related lingo.
Thanks in advance
Linda

I wrote a rough guide a while ago. You'll find it here

I use Imageshack, works very well for me http://imageshack.us/

If you click Browse and choose the pic you want to upload, then where is says 'resize image?' you can click on the dropdown menu to pick a suitable size. I use 640x480. Then once it has uploaded it will provide you with a lists of links which you can use - I use the one right at the end, should end with jpeg.

Or you can use photobucket but dunno how that works

I use photobucket

It's free and seems to work well. Basically you register as usual for any site, then when you come to upload a photo just click on the browse box and you get a window to browse your "pictures" folder. A couple of clicks and it's there. You can now edit the picture on their site, resize etc.

Once the pic is uploaded it shows as a thumbnail which you can select and a single click on the appropriate link code allows you to copy the link onto another forum (like here).

It's easier done than described. Try it and see how you go.
