Oxtar/TCX no question, would have another pair no dramas. Both pairs of mine been secondhand and lasted well for the £40 they cost. Both mostly waterproof despite neither being goretex model.

Re: Recommend me: Boots
Sidi Black Rain Evo can be had for a bit above £150. A very good boot, i've had mine for 7 years and still going strong.

Re: Recommend me: Boots
I have a pair of worn but still waterproof Sidi Canyons that I have wonr almost daily.
Need some new soles, but as they are more like normal boots than bike boots I will be able to drop them into a shoe place and get them re-soled. Only issue is they are £250...

Re: Recommend me: Boots
A word of warning on the Spada boots. I hate to say this as I like these boots but the two pairs that I had both suffered with the heel of the sole becoming detached from the uppers within two months of getting them. The second pair were a replacement for the first ones. I was really disappointed as these are robust, comfortable and waterproof - or they were until the sole came adrift.
