Start point is only 30 minutes from Middlewich...

It was an issue for me Chris but the roads from Stockport to Hollingworth Lake are pretty pants. It would put about an extra 40 minutes of cruddy road driving on the route. I`m sure the rest of the route will be far more to your liking
