Default I know what I did 30 years ago to the day

Because at school we had to make a poster in tech drawing using the figures 7-7-77 because it was 7th July 1977.

Show us the poster then!

A much better way of comemerating significant dates than seems to occur nowadays.

Hmm, 30 years ago to the day I would have been toddling around without a care in the world eating worms, stuffing jam sandwiches into the betamax and drawing pretty crayon pictures over the wallpaper...

I wanna go back!!!

30 years ago - i would have been getting ready to start last year at primary school. teacher Mrs McIver with long toe nails that kept ripping her american tan tights and hairy legs and armpits. boy she made an impression on me, dont remember much else about school, except getting the belt. bring it back!

I would be comming towards the end of my first year as an apprentice. I guess I would have either been in the technical college or on attachment to a boring area such as engine assembly or vehicle build.

30 years ago I was actually enjoying school, fighting with my brother and running round the local fields and woods.
15 years ago I was having a 'Go-Faster Carbon Fibre' ligament stuck in my knee, ignoring my brother and limping about my house.
Now I'm taking a wide variety of prescription drugs, getting on with my brother and not walking anywhere.

In 15 years time I'll have a bionic left leg (complete with Robocop style gun holster in the thigh!), I would probably fallen out with my brother again because of my 'bad influence' on my two nephews and I shall be running around again...

... accompanied by a cool robotic vvvvvDOOM vvvvvDOOM noise made by my new leg.
