SV650S Lowered

Hi All,

I have recently ordered my new SV650S from the dealership and have ordered a lowered seat and lowering kit.

I'm around 5'2"/5'3" and just wondered if anyone had any experience of lowered K8/K9 models?

I have seen reviews for older models but wondered if it would be any different for the newer ones?

Shouldn't be any different from a 2004 (K4) onwards, in case you didn't know!

So what colour?!

Black! I went for the K8 model and not the K9 as they didn't have the K9 in Black only Blue. I'm told the K8 and K9 are exactly the same so went with the K8. Cannot wait-just hope it's low enough.

hi there, another one to the short @rse ranks.. i'm 5'2" (with my boots on rofl) you will probably have to scoop the seat out a bit more. the only problem with lowering kits is they lower the very back of the bike and not where it matters which is the middle, to get it lower in the middle (where you sit) you will have to lower the front to, IIRC you can only go 10mm threw the yokes. once you have done this then you will be able to get the balls of your feet on the deck. ooohhh it might be nice if you put your location in your profile. feel free to ask about any more questions on lowering the bike.
