Bikes Banned From Parking on Aberystwyth Prom

Appears that the no parking rule on the prom will be enforced, but hopefully there will be alternative arrangements made.

yeah, its a new council thingy.
trouble is, the local bussiness that will lose out are against it. as we spend a lot of money there |

Yep, that kiosk cafe we all park next to must be gutted! It's gonna cost them thousands.

That sucks, its one of the highlights of going there as everyone always stops and looks at the bikes etc. Every time I have been there the prom is half deserted anyway, so without us bikes pitching up will be even worse......there are some proms (like Weston) where I can appreciate it is neccesary.....but not Aber.

Another case of some twonk at the council jumping before they consult the locals.
Maybe they are planning a special drive through just for bikes: Thicker burgers to wedge inside the visor slot on your lid, Coffee containers with very large straws to reach from your tank bag to your gob, free visor wiping at the end of the drive-through, Hmmmmmmm, maybe im on to something! |
