I'm not talking dropping the bike at traffic lights (Hong) but proper oh feck this is going to hurt binning of your bike

why you may ask, simple every fecker on here keeps commenting on my crash record but im sure their are many on here that have binned it far more often than me

so honestly how many have you had

in my yoof i had many off's but none were proper bone broken stuff, just scrapes and bruising. the bikes were always fixable with a bar and hammer. i learnt not to do the silly stuff again and progressed from there.

i have never killed a bike.

In my misspent youth I lost count, but did do quite a bit of racing..really had a lot more enthusiasm than ability or skill ... have broken most bones in my now aching ol body..lol

Hmm, technically I have went down while moving five times though none of these were above say 20mph and all were in city traffic. All but one was put through insurance and paid out 100% in my favour. Also all but once I picked the bike up and rode it home/to work.

I have never really killed a bike but I have had two written off by those pesky insurance types!...

5 White (now yellow) box arrivals to the hospital with blue lights - think they count. Includes 2 writeoff's.

One trackday bin, bike dead (in many pieces) but no injury past bruises and pride (gravel works great compared to kerbs, lamp posts and stone walls!) - dont think that counts does it?

Oh since about 1987
