test riding a 06 pointy?
with 130 miles on it tomorrow, any advice? what tyres should it have & im guessing the should still have the little bits on?
should it ride like mine? thanx |

stock tyres on the 06s are Dunlop D220s
it'll be a bit like yours, but being a pointy will be noticeably faster

You will also need to learn to read numbers instead of getting a mate to point out where the needle thingy should be when you are
a) In town b) Out of town LOL Good luck on the test, better take the money along with you, once you have gone Red and Black, you can never go back :P

It wont be a huge amount different than your curvey is.
The seat will be a bit higher and the riding position a little more wristy, but not much. You sit up higher as well which gives a better view of the road. You might notice it rev's a little easier as well. I prefer the pointy to ride I think its a better bike.

Having read your other thread, its clear whats to be done. Tell the prospective new owner that its a ****ter and buy it yourself...of course friends may be lost over this
