Default New tyre - Michellin Pilot Sport replacement?

Been running some Michy Pilots on Ze Bandito as they seem to work quite well in the wet, but looking around many places have stopped doing them, and so far no-ones been able to tell me the replacement.

I tried Busters, but they were rude to me when I questioned a £5 delivery charge, that would not get a tyre to me before saturday (imo thats awful!).

So does anyone know what the Michellin Pilot Sport replacement is for around £90. Im trying to search online but having a mare finding what looks like a reputable site, with a Pilot sport in a 160/60 in stock (or whatever the repalcement model is).

Anyone got any links/contacts? Taaaaaa

Yes they are good, but they don't come cheap but I got over 13 000 miles out of the last pair.

Seriously, 13,000 miles!!!

I usually get about 4000 from the previous Bridgestone 020s, and i'd say similar milage from the pilots sports.

But theres like £40 price difference in the tyres.

Ta Mr S, i'll have a nosey on that site.

Meh, gone for a Pirelli Diablo Strada at £88 delivered. Looked at some BS 021's but came out at over £100.

Sods law, you want a softer tyre so it warms up quick (talking winter use) and gives some grip and feedback, but if you do this the tyre won't last as long.

Go harder material, less grip, but more life.

meh, ordered, be here tomorrow morning. Busters can now SMB. I only questioned why it was so much and such a shoddy delivery time to get "well we sell thousands of things every day without anyone saying anything"

Not today you didn't sunshine.

Cheers MrS for the link

I have always got my tyre cheaper ringing around than buying online.

I would try the pilot road 2 or the pilot power 2.

I have the pilot power 2 at the moment and they are fantastic.

No worries Daimo. Did you buy from them?
I have bought all my car tyres thorugh them as they are chepaer than anywhere else and they give you discounts off your next purchase. Cracking site.

Yeah. Delivery was quite a lot, but the bloke was polite, helpfull, and i'll have it tomorrow morning. I'd be inclined now to use them again.

Not rude, arrogent, un-helpfull with tyre advice, and tell me im wrong when I ask why it costs so much for a delivery that I won't get until next week.

Also won't buy from local tyre shop after poor service.
