cheap rearsets?
Hello
Ever since I have adopted the "proper" foot/body position, (**** back, toes on pegs) I've found that after a while my feet and hips ache. When this happens I'll sjift back forward, put my feet flat on the pegs and sit up for a bit. I reckon if the pegs were further back it would help, as currently they feel too far forward. Alas, every rearset I have seen is £££...wondering if there are any cheaper ones out there? |

Re: cheap rearsets
£20 for a set of risers of flebay. 1"up and 1" back, for the price they do the job very nicely.

Re: cheap rearsets
I'm not sure 1" would be enough, as when I put my feet where I "think" they would be most corfortable they are pretty much level with the heelplate.
Saying that, I'm well aware that 1" might not sound much, but can feel very different. Also for £20...might be worth a bash. Hmmmmmm Off to google gbmoto! |

You gonna be at GM or AR? You be a bit far for a pootle to test tbh. What rearsets you got, what adjustment and what improvement? |

Re: cheap rearsets
Oi enough from you short ****!
Will be at AR GM is abit far and costly atm, but there will be plenty of SM & GM rideouts over june/july im sure. Ive got the fixed 1up and back and it made the bike more comfotrable over distance easier to ride when im feeling spirited and slightly more flickable for me as i found it easier to shift my weight around as my legs were always in an odd position with the standard set up and now knee's are bent abit more which pushes me forward with flat bars for what i feel is better over the front end. [Edit] they also have a set with multiple holes so you can play around, think there only £5/10 dearer. Last edited by BBadger; 03-06-11 at 05:51 PM. |
