XJ900F 1989 Shaft Drive.
Anyone interested in a perfect winter hack?/El Cheapo tourer?
It will do 250+ miles on a tank, 59-60mpg if you're reasonable with it. Is really comfy. Bad bits. Rear tyre is not grippy due to being rock hard. Carbs need setting up. Tank is sound but has slight surface rust which could do with cleaning off as bungs carbs up every few thousand miles. Nothing of a job to sort though. Is generally a little bit tatty. Has no logbook. Needs applying for, I've got a dating certificate from Yamaha UK and all the forms etc. or could go through this as subject of sale. Whatever really. Good bits. Front tyre is new ish Avon and is fine. Has triumph brakes which work properly unlike originals. Is comfy. Has had valve shims done recently. Has character. Got me up to Scotland safe on a whiff of fuel in appalling weather. Always got me to work and home again through't snow and ice despite it's considerable bulk. Would be sad to see it go TBH. Tax till June, Test July. £600 or reasonable offer.

From TT600.
Use triumph bolts, triumph over-mudguard line but make longer MC-caliper line. Think I have an SV master on there.

Lol, it did not get you home from Scotland.... The was the transits job. Granted, not because it wasn't running, more because you're soft.

Re: XJ900F 1989 Shaft Drive.
All TT6 are same, as are speed4, t595s, 955is, etc. Really common triumph caliper. Only oddball is sprint.
Yeah 2line would be fine. I used OTM cos it meant I only made one new line.
