Ex-Demo Bikes
Would an ex-demonstrator bike but you off?
i.e. - Registered by a Suzuki dealer as a demo bike for the first 1000 miles or so, then sold onto someone. He has since covered 4500 miles and is now selling it... Its in mint condition, and has a full service history, but I'm guessing that the usual ' don't exceed 6k revs until 400 miles (or whatever) was not adhered to... Unless the dealership ran it in themselves by the book (unlikely?) So, would you? Thanks, Billy. |

It had less than 300 miles on it at the time. What do you think However I believe that Cupar Suzuki DO actually run the bikes in properly - I think that they give them to their machanics to run in over a weekend BEFORE demo-ing them.

Re: Ex-Demo Bikes
Are you going to bimble on it a couple of times a week, or do you want to cane the living f### out of it for 45,000miles?

Re: Ex-Demo Bikes
Just had a thought - most of us wouldnt know if the bike we are riding was an ex-demo bike if it had more than 2 owners anyway - would we?
The logbook only shows the details of the previous owner.... |
