Might have a PC cord somewhere. Can send up with the Certo. Really tempted by the SRT but its how I get it back here or what not. Up to you Yoko, if there is a suitable lens for the XGM in there?

Like you, I'm tempted but it's still a four hour round trip for me.

Need to check the flash on a hot shoe, am wondering if it will fire at all - the test button works. I found a pic of the PC cord and the connector is the same 2.5mm jack plug I already tried.

There are lots of SRTs around, not sure how much a f1.4 lens is (think you said there was one?) but add a bit of postage and I guess you have to question it.

Yeah. If I lived locally, I'd probably have them but I'm not that desperate to want to drive down to Sheffield

Yeah, it jumped so quickly. Watched it finish.
Studio tour tomorrow for wife's birthday. Mix of low light and outdoors. Taking the D3200 but XGM, f1.7 lens and 400iso film or won't it work?

Why not give the XGM a whirl? It should work OK with the 1.7 and a fast film.

I think you asked about blogs a while ago. I came across this one tonight; I don't know if you've seen it. Quite a unique style. The Olympus XA article made me laugh.

Blimey! That's the secret of ebay though - you sometimes only thin you're going to get a bargain, then get suckered. I saw a Pentax K2 with lens for only £2 with less than 24 hours to go - final price, £48.

TZ1 flash won't fire, even the test button is intermittent. Will have a brief look but not worth ages of messing for a few quid's worth when I have two others.

Been trying to get a good pic of my daughter now she has started school, it's all timing though! Monday, looked good, good sunlight. Out the back of our house, it's painted cream so quite reflective and south-facing. So, main light from the sun (in fact too bright for little eyes) from the east, reflected light from the south, got two pics and was going to add fill flash for a third but it all went so missed out. Been waiting for another chance but despite being warm, it's been really overcast in the mornings. Trying to use two or more light sources to see how it turns out. Will keep trying!
