Well done Yoko! Kenzie, looks a good bit like the one off a Contessa 35, how is it on yours? I have a busted meter on a Contessamatic (rigid body) and I am presuming I can swap it from a similar camera, but not delved into there yet.

I test rode a VFR750 like that a way back. Great torque, handling was okay, but it's definitely sports-tourer not sports, it's pretty heavy (20kg-odd more than the SV and you feel it, not just some MCN BS weights). Shame, could go from being a good bike back to being a great bike, I'm not sure who it's aimed at.

Pretty good actually. The one I have has focus from 0-60cm and 60 to infinity. Film develops im a couple of minutes. Mini is credit card size and wide is 3x mini size.
I should have cleaned the roller on mine before loading as I get a smear on the white part of the film.
The meter is going spare if you can make use of it.

I doubt it TBH as from a different generation but either hang onto it or ebay it, old camera spares are few and far between

Worth a try. Its hooning it down here at the moment so no chance of shooting today. Actually the focus is 60cm to 3m.

Picked up a battered Olympus 35 rc yesterday. Lens is a bit wobbly and slightly scuffed on the front element and the meter's dead but on the bright side, shutter is firing at the right speeds and the rangefinder seems to be calibrated properly. Removing the battery compartment is proving to be difficult...

Wouldn't mind one of those. I have a 35ecr somewhere. Not shot with it yet. How many cameras is that now Yoko?

I dread to think how many I have. I daren't count.
Ordered a lens tool from ebay so I can try to fix the M42 Chinon, which I think is oily blades and oil on the rear element. And also need to get into this to see why it's wobbling. Hopefully just loose screws. It's a little marked at the front but I'm hoping it won't effect images too much.

It's been banged about a bit.

And this is why the meter isn't working. It's pretty badly corroded. I might try to find a new screw and connection. It took me ages to get the battery compartment out while trying not to damage anything. For some reason Olympus decided to glue it in.

Where did you find this one? Only issue with these is the batteries. I don't think you can get them any more.

Charity shop yesterday. I thought I'd take a punt on it. It will work without a battery using sunny 16 I think.
It'll take a px625 - same as Minolta SRTs. Can also use 675 hearing aid batteries which are dirt cheap.

Jealous. I never find anything as good as that. Hope it was a good price.
