Second run of the weekend event done this morning. Ten miles on the trails here in great company. Legs are feeling the effect of 23 hilly miles in two days, so having filled up on tea and cake, I'm now going for a soak in the bath!

The Relive video.

Some pictures. Llangollen yesterday.

Parkrun again for me yesterday morning, slightly better time than the last one. Only a couple of minutes but still an improvement

I had to pull out of parkrun on Saturday after a mile - and not even because of my ankle, I've done something to me knee on the other side. I'm literally falling apart, very frustrating.

Well done on that. A couple of minutes over a short distance is an impressive improvement on a PB.

It is so frustrating not being able to finish a run. You did the sensible thing and stopped though. I've injured myself on a parkrun before and forced myself on to the end, and then spent several weeks recovering from the avoidable damage I'd done to myself.

It’s not bad at all, I felt ok during it and even managed a bit of a sprint finish

Another week, another parkrun (I’m sticking with the same parkrun so I can gauge my pace better) and just over 2 minutes off my pr.

No running for me after a sports massage yesterday, but I did take photos at parkrun. In the rain.

I got out Wednesday eve with the running club. For a 7 mile social run. Today I ran the Stansted 10k with my missus. My eight year old did the kids 1mile in 6 mins 57seconds. 33 seconds faster than last year.

Bloody hell your lad is fast Martin!

Should have been out on a 21 mile mountain run yesterday but sat at home feeling like crap with a blinding headache instead. Gutted to have missed the run but made it out for a shorter run in lovely sunshine this morning instead. 4.3 miles of mixed terrain from home to the Quaker meeting house at Dolobran.

On the way.

Running club again. A lovely if a slightly damp evening run 8.1 miles mainly through Hatfield Forest. It was nice. On Strava.
