Re: The running thread.
On holiday, and got in Woolacombe Dunes parkrun, apparently the toughest in the UK. I really enjoyed it, although my ankle not so much. Followed by a barefoot run along the beach, which was fabulous.

Re: The running thread.
Well my body is aching in places I never knew could ache. Here is the first lot of pics, I didn't go with the rest of my family this time so pics will mainly be limited to the official ones.
Here's a tired me after 3 x 5k laps, a respectable 96 out of 1766. As well as the medal and a couple of screen grabs off my phone. Plus the compulsory disgusting cotton bud shot after trying to clean out my ears. Nice one on the mud run
Still no running for me due to knee pain, going to need to get back to the doctors/physio

Re: The running thread.
That mud run looks er...muddy Martin. Well done but sooner you than me!
Hope you get your knee sorted swiftly DD! Made it out for an excellent run with a friend and our hounds this evening in the hills around Guilsfield. First run for more than a week and I really needed this. Feeling much better for it. Made it back just as it was getting dark, then sat on the patio at my friends house and had a very welcome cup of tea and a pleasant natter. Lovely way to pass the evening. The Relive video The last rays of the setting sun caught the red brickwork of this chapel as we arrived back, rendering it a really bright red. Chapel by garynortheast |

Re: The running thread.
I got out last night with BSRC (Bishop Stortford Running Club) I have switched groups and am now in the fast group. Who if I'm honest are a bit too quick at the moment. But the other group was too slow.
7.25 miles. Head torches all round. It was a nice run through a dark Hatfield Forest. My body is a bit sore again this morning though. |

Re: The running thread.
I've been lazy again. Over a month since I was last out. I struggled to complete my 5 mile loop tonight. I really need to be more consistent

Re: The running thread.
At least you made it out there Darren, so fair play to you for that. It's more than I've managed over the last few days, so I shall attempt to get out for a very badly needed run tomorrow morning.
