Question .org scuba divers!

Have any of you guys dived at Nemo33 ? (worlds deepest swimming pool 33m)

My dive club are organising a trip there in January, it'll set me back £120 this includes travel by Eurostar, unlimited local travel in Brussels, entry to the diving facility, hire of all diving equipment, air, use of a diving computer & safety briefings which I think sounds good value for money.

If you have been, what did you think of it? Would you recommend it?

Thanks, Gaz

I know a colleague that has been to it, he rated it. Not really my sort of thing, I only dive for work purposes now, plus I like to see something other than a wall when I go diving.

Agree with Davie, nothing like open water.
indonesia has got some lovely places to dive and if you backpack it's not as expensive as it could be.

do your mixed gas ticket, scapa flow is awesome, or something easier try the Mulbury harbour remains off the south coast.

Cheers Mark.

I concur... or get your self over to Was****er (Wast water) in the Lakes... and try and find that old dumped aircraft merlin engine, and don't let that maneiquin scare the fook out of you as it did me...

Cheers for the advice peeps. Although I think for whats included it's quite good value it's still 120 notes which could be better spent towards a trip to Sharm etc.

Why go diving in a big pool if you can already dive?

Like you say save the notes and go dive somewhere fun. Nothing like doing some proper deep diving for the narc...

PS Brussels is dull, if out that way head to Leuven and the Oude Markt.
