Default SV650s K5 Hugger....

Has any one fitted one yet?

Everyone I've phoned say they don't do them yet.

If any one has fitted one or can recommend one please get in touch, I need to get rid of that huge bit-a-plastic asap!

cheers!

You sound a bit confused as to what you want- do you mean a hugger, fender eliminator or an undertray?

A hugger is the optional extra 'rear mudguard' (a bit like the thing on the front)

An undertray is the part that goes under the fairing (usually colour matched), often encorporating a fender eliminator.

A fender eliminator is a smaller, neater (though less protecting of mud/fling) bit of metal/plastic that your number plate is mounted on, instead of the large plastic scoop that is there as stock.

I'm not sure how much the K5 has changed from the K4, you may be able to use ones designed for that on your bike. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Cheers.

I haven't heard of any differences in that area between the K4 and K5, so if you get the right colour, the K4 ones should fit (not the K3 ones, though)
Ermax ones are very good, it seems.

I have a Suzuki Hugger fitted to my K5 (naked).

At the time the dealer said they needed to check if there was a difference from the K4 as it may mean supplying the bike without the Hugger fitted and returning, for fitting, once the K5 version came in.
As it turned out mine was delivered with the Hugger fitted so I assumed that there was no difference between the two.

Anyone confirm the K4 hugger fits a 2005 K5?

Thanks!

Cheers!
Any make recommendations?
Think I'd prefer C/F or C/F effect plastic, as bike colour is going to get cruddy in no time!

MarkFC - i have all those bits on my K5. All OEM parts apart from the fender extender and pyramid undertray.

Check out the photos in the photos section.

Dan

P.S - it was seeing your black K5 that prompted me to get my black K5!
