i must have got this wrong.......but im sure this is what i just heard on the radio:

this years TV xmas speach will be done by a muslim women in a full head scarf?

Do you mean the Queen's speech?
I know she often wears a headscarf,but I think converting to Islam is not allowed under our constitution.

Thats what I'd wager it probably is. I seem to remember that they normally do an alternative to The Queens speech at 3pm on Christmas day so I expect its that.
