I would NEVER buy another old tech lead/acid battery.AGM or sealed Gel are the way to go.I have a sealed gel that came with my SV650 and a Motobatt AGM battery

in my kitchen that is now around five years old and still in good state for my other bikes.

You could also buy one of these Tamsen,

You can FF to around 3-45 mins.

A pal of mine has one and has used it on Motorcycles and cars and keeps his phone/s charged with it as well.

Small enough methinks to fit under the back seat maybe.

Prefer AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) as they can supply more cranking amps than a gellled electrolyte battery, also AGM more efficient and has better cycle life, both are sealed (recombinant technology) so no free acid inside.

If you overcharge a GEL battery it can permanently damage the gelled acid.

Also NEVER try and jump Start a Motorcycle using a Car Battery with the Car Engine running. The car's charging system will supply too much current and damage the smaller Motorcycle battery.
