What you need to remember is that when they designed the roads they very considerately made car lanes, and bike lanes. The car lanes are easy to spot, they have a greasy line up the middle and are full of....cars.

The bike lanes have a dotted white line up the middle. That's why it says on you driving licence, "Tear along the dotted line".

OK, I might have made the last bit up but the rest is worth remembering if ever in traffic. Never, ever, stop directly behind anything. Even if there isn't room to filter position yourself to one side or the other.

ps: as for the dipstick in the car, yes, definitely needs sticking on, and providing the person who took the photo can be identified and will give a statement no reason why they can't be, as long as it was recent enough to be within time (NIP). (Assuming Scottish law is the same at real law on these matters....MBK still about?)

I had an interesting one a few years ago where I'd filtered past the solitary car at a traffic light, the driver gave me a dirty look for my impatience ... seconds later there was the squeal of tyres and a taxi slithered to a halt about 2 feet behind the car... driver carried on sending his text after he stopped... camel sh*gging c***...

I also saw somebody run into the back of an 8 legger once too... battered to buggery quarry truck. Truck driver didn't notice and carried on which I thought was quite comical. Car looked like a write off!
That tickled me - there is something really funny about stupid people crashing.

Like this - love the scraping of the panniers and the way he carries on walking as though nothing happened --

I think that was a Mr Bean episode you've remembered by mistake.
