Back safely - also knackered. Got a lot out of today - a lot more than I thought I would. Things felt much quicker than previous trackdays and that was without proper braking markers and being fairly ginger on the brakes. Yes it's expensive, but is definitely worth it - whatever your preference, road or track.

I also thought I recognised my instructor - he is the guy in these pics - nice guy with a lot of good advice.

Want to do level 2, but maybe see how it goes - £369 + a day's work is a little bit much at the moment for July!

It was a pleasure to bump into you again. I found it a great day out and definately worth every penny. I'm pretty glad i rode up the day before and stayed over night in the hotel as the day on track and then the ride home to Surrey was enough to send me straight to bed

I had a quick look at the photos they took of me and they where all missing the best parts. I think its a case that they focus on the better riders and then just get a few of you when they have a spare moment. The photos for the 16th are up already. I've just had a peek at the riders on there and their photos don't look too fast so its making mine feel better.

All in all a very productive day. I tried putting everything into practice on the road this morning on the way to work and now i see why Lord R said to only concerntrate on one thing at a time, alternatively i could slip out over night and put big gaffertape x's all on the roads on the way to work!

Anyhow thanks for the offer of tagging along to your future trackdays, it's definatly worth concidering.

Cheers,
Chris

no. there was enough other stuff to concentrate on without getting used to wets (I haven't ridden on them before). didn't have any time to be messing about changing wheels anyway. I did get the tyres put on my spare wheels though, so it'll be good to give them a try next time it's wet

See - this is why I like the tinted visor - always looks like I have a dodgy tache with the clear one! Check out the slug in this:

Boo!

you want to get yourself a nice respro thingie like this:

that way you can hide your 'tashe when the instructor is shouting at you not to fall asleep when he's talking to you
