yes the drive is but the magnet is not. if you stick a K8 speedo drive on anything under twin spark (k7) you will show double speed.

Ok, so a K6 speedo drive will be a straight swap with my SK3's?

then just buy another magnet. there are 2 types k3-k6 and k7 onwards.

biggest cause of shattered magnets is tyre fitters/owners not engaging the tabs in the wheel correctly.

Magnets:
k3-6 part # 34983-21E00
k7-> part # 34983-27G00

there are 2 types of speedo faces, one is the earlier K3-6 black centre and the later k7-> is all white, this dictates the magnet you need.

i really do wish that they would sticky this.

if the speedo is erratic or not even reading them most likely it will cure it but it's not a guarantee but worth a try first.

make sure you clean out all the old magnet before installing the new one.

I use Redcar motorcycles in Leicester for my Suzuki OEM parts. Very helpful, usually fast and economical postage cost.
