12 days in France/Europe

Going over to France for twelve days after the AR, basically heading down to the french alps with the mrs, so any tips/thoughts or routes to take places to visit etc. Bearing in mind this is to be a holiday and not a see how many miles we can do, we will not want to be moving on every day, but chillaxing taking our time probobly no more than 300 miles on our days in the saddle, stopping for one or two nights, three if there is stuff to see explore in the area, so come on guys and girls tell us your highlights, cheers andy.

I like some of the gorges south of the main alps, south of the Col De la Bonette, bright pinky purple rocks and gorges, loads of restaurants and no doubt some fun kayaking or similar.
