Very good route btw mate. Enjoyed it immensely, apart from the gravel. Bloody rain!

I think they went out the day before and put it down themselves, probably worried we'd keep coming back and cluttering up their roads if it was TOO good.

I hadn't ridden for nine months and the first time I went out I hit that lot at Fuller Street which was worse than last week as there was no tarmac at all.

Two things
1. Maybe the southern softies thought you could cope with a bit of the old off roading experience 2. This year's route was even better than 09 becuase it didn't need 400 metres of Suffolk to make it great!

That is because you rather enjoy gravel, and feel completely cheated if a ride out has decent levels of adhesion from start to finish
