Beautiful skies and cooler temps in the mountains lured me away today.

A caboose !
Don't see them on trains anymore but every town seems to have one next to it's long closed passenger rail station.

Apples in season early this year. The Apples and tourists coming to see the colorful fall leaves bring in most of the money to many local towns and villages in the mountains.

Iron bridges (with a wooden deck) like this were once everywhere in rural Virginia. Very few still survive today. All were built between 1900 and 1920.

Well, I've sold the Gladius

The only problem is my SV has no MOT. I was gutted this morning when I saw the weather forecast, but that's the way it goes. I set to & have done some detailing this afternoon.
