Limited Edition - I crashed it. And got my mate to tosh it over for a beer.

Steer well clear.

Good luck, just try to relax! Nerves were my enemy on my mod 2, mod 1 is over so quick though that you don't have to hold it together for too long.

Enjoy yourself and don't overthink it, I failed the first one on the figure 8 because my test was done during the 2013 hurricane(strong wind gust made me put the foot down)

Good luck with your Mod2 test. Relax and just think of it as a ride out with a friend

You'll be in the same boat as me with the restricted a2 license, I bought the throttle restrictor from a company called Kickstart engineering (not many other places sell the 47hp kits) it was tricky to fit, more awkward than anything else

However once done you have more than enough power to keep up with other bikes - it only really affects it after 90mph...

I bought my sv a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it

Good luck with the test, you will certainly like the Euclasse Silver (actual name of the blue one )

As others have said seems the better of the 2 and includes the all important infills and cowl which can be difficult to find, especially in that colour. Took me 7 months to find a some decent ones which I am waiting for insurance renewal to fit.

Also keep and eye on the for sale section and maybe join the UK sv650 facebook group as the restricted ECUs do come up.

Ride safe.

Managed to track down a black sv650, passed my mod 1 with no problems but when mod 2 came around i felt cheated, A van pulled out on me causing me to brake and therefore 'impede traffic' or something along those lines; Apart from that 0 minors.

Now the long wait to be able to get another test!

Sorry to hear that! But for future reference, standard practice in those circumstances is to leave your faceprint in the side of the van

sorry to hear about the mod 2 mate. i got 'robbed' of mine for the examiner doing a life saver at the same time as me on a slip road and apparently failing to see mine :/ he said 'i might well have done it but if he didn't see it he couldn't pass me'. was abit miffed to say the least but hay-ho, makes you more relaxed with the re-test as you know whats coming.

If you get a garage to fit the throttle stop (good luck finding a 47bhp ECU) don't worry if they don't give you a certificate, and don't pay more for it, its not worth a thing in the eyes of the coppers and only a few insurance companies want to see it!

good luck with the second mod 2
