Homemade undertray/tail tidy
Ive got the template for the homemade undertray/ tail tidy, does anyone know how to print it off the right size just from the image as i am having problems and dont want to have a gap.
or any chance someone has it in a .dwg or .dxf format so that i can use autocad to print it off 1:1? Also how easy is it to sort out the indicators, number plate light and the cdi because im a bit of an idiot when it comes to electrics? |

Re: Homemade undertray/tail tidy
When I printed mine I opened it with Photoshop as printed it "actual size" and printed it out on A3. Windows tends to scale it to fit paper size and there in lies your problem. I'm back in work tomorrow or the day after so if you dont get it sorted I can always print you one off and post it to you.

I did mine on a4. I printed it in two sepeate halfs that overlap (landscape) and just matched them up at the fold line, and joined the two together.

Re: Homemade undertray/tail tidy
That sounds like the problem because i just used the windows image viewer and it was nearly the right size but not quite and i didnt really want to just cut a bit bigger cos it would of probably ended up a mess so i will give the old photoshop a try. Thanks
i got the template from: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/junej.h...te/rse_end.htm |

Re: Homemade undertray/tail tidy
i tried to print it out at work and it is not coming out as it should...the legend that state the 10cm is either too small if printer on the original size or too big if printed to fit on an A3.....

Re: Homemade undertray/tail tidy
I'm the man guys! I see my old template is still running about. Taipan is right, print it from an Adobe program and you should be ok. I use Illustrator but Photoshop works fine too. If you want some ideas as to how to go about fitting indicators and other lights do a search here including the word zunkus and something should pop up. You could also look me up in facebook (search for Stephen Spiteri) where I'm lurking most as lately.
