Currently searching for a good deal on the insurance for the new bike and after running a quote through the bike insurer, the best quotes (factoring everything in) look to be coming from Direct Choice, Devitts and the AA.com
Motorcycle Direct Ive always had in past and theyre not far off (never had to make a claim) but they dont have Euro cover which I am considering. Has anyone had any experience with the above? Good/Bad? |

Have you tried MCE?
They always come up cheapest for me.

Hi Rob,
Get onto Confused.com and get their cheapest quote. Then once you've got it, phone Carol nash. Carol Nash aren't in Confused.com's system. I managed to get the Hornet insured fully comp for the less than the cheapest quote on Confused.com and also got free legal cover and free anywhere, anytime, any reason Euro brekadown cover *and* 90 days Euro cover included. ![]() Carl |

Carole Nash can be alright with mods, they insured mine. And northys IIRC. They also do a special 'fighter policy for if you have any properly modified tackle.
Don't just try confused, try the tesco compare thing. I've just taken out a policy with bikesure, they're been fine with me. Didn't increase the premium (got it from the tesco compare website, £100 cheaper than nearest one on tesco or confused), when I declared mods. Also they missed the bit on certificate that entitled me to ride other bikes... new certificate arrived next day after a phone call... asked for it in writing that I had declared my modifications... arrived the day after the call. Generally they've been straight up the line with me, can't complain at all yet. Hopefully I will not have to claim but we shall see.
