Start here http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/2003models.htm
If you click Suzuki and SV1000S then it'll show you. It was pretty much copper for K3 only, silver, blue and black if I remember correctly. Not black like mine, cause mine is awesome... |

Re: Sv650 or sv1000?
Nothing to add really as I think it's very individual on what bike you prefer...
Just wanted to also vouch for flymo in terms know how, his bikes get well looked after. Plus he is a genuinely decent guy which counts for a lot buying second hand! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk |

Re: Sv650 or sv1000?
An SV1000 is the naked version of the SV1000S, or the SV1000S is the faired version of the SV1000. Depending on how you look at it.
There are also minor differences between K3 S's compared to K4+ bikes, but, for someone looking at buying one all you need to know is the K3 S's seat is higher than on the later models due to a different rear subframe being used from K4 onwards. You can tell the difference by the bottom bars of the subframe that are not covered by fairings, if they are straight all the way along it is a K3 model, if there is a slight bend after the riders seat it is a K4+ |

Re: Sv650 or sv1000?
Black frames and wheels from K5 ( 2005 ). More power and better delivery. Better clutch seals. K3 ( S ) was only one with higher subframe. K3 naked and everything else had lower subframes but deeper seats to compensate. It brought the passenger down behind the rider a bit.
