As for being newly single, I'll second all suggestions to try new things and find a hobby. You never know who you'll meet and what new awesome things you'll experience now you have the freedom.

well for start you can help me change my tyres over today if you have nowt to do
 As others have said, take some time out to think about doing some new things and try to fill time. Have something to look forward to but don't panic if you have spare time. It's perfectly normal to feel a bit lonely and miss people's company but indulge yourself a little, chat, meet new people, read a book, buy shoes. It really is an opportunity to be a little selfish now and spoil yourself (but don't feel pressured in to having to do something all the time!!) You'll be fine
