Default Off to a great start...

Heading to London today and had a manic morning, packed most stuff last night but had to remember tickets and sort the dog out, get the wife up to drive the car back (which had NO fuel in it,which at 5am is delightful) jerry can got squeezed like a ketchup bottle as it wouldn't flow quick enough. Drove like a madman to the station and then realised I'd forgotten my bloody phone a week, in London, with no phone... Oh dear.

For anyone wondering, I've just paid for wifi minutes to use my ipad, what a con, wifi minutes. Just means I'm gonna hammer the connection for all its worth for the time I'm allowed.

Would be well worth the cost of overnight shipping IMHO.

I've been watching that series on the 80's on Nat Geo channel this week. Motorola brick phones have only just come out and no such thing as the interweb. We all survived that decade so I'm tempted to say Brettus old fruit that you may find the break refreshing. Trouble is, I'd also find it hard to cope without my dialy fix of lunacy this site brings into my life!!

I've decided to go without it. Proved a pain for some work calls but I've got the ipad and wifi for a bit of interwebs (and some top class remote server support from a pub last night I might add) and can FaceTime my wife so I'll "make do" plus knowing my luck I'd lose the phone in the post.
